You might think about doing the Mesquite Sand Dunes now, considering youre going to pass right by it, but wed recommend waiting until sunset, which is a far better time to be out there, when the dramatic shadows bring out the texture of the sand, and the golden light illuminates the dunes in a deep orange color. The road in is 27 miles long and it is over some of the most godforsaken roads on earth. I go here a lot but Ive had more days loosing here than winning. I would really appreciate if they Viator had fight for us for a higher refund since the tour was really terrible. When you win you win but youre typically loosing here.

That said, this little walk packs a ton of beautiful sights in a really small area. The giant trees are unfathomably beautiful and words cannot describe their majestic sight. Harrahs Laughlin Casino is a top-rated casino in Laughlin, found in a grand riverfront hotel. The room was really clean and spotless, it's more than expected for an older hotel. The lockers and restrooms required long waits and it all felt pretty dirty. Lake Havasu City is in western Arizona. The hotel itself has been refurbished and the rooms look like a modern hotel. To the east, Bearizona Wildlife Park has bears, mountain goats, bison and birds of prey. The 350 steps leading to the rock have handrails along the edges to keep visitors safe. The front desk has multilingual staff on hand 24/7 to help with luggage storage, concierge services, and dry cleaning/laundry. The Sequoias are amazing to look at and getting to walk through them is a really impressive experience. No phone service within a few miles of the park, which is amazing to those with phone addictions. There is a 1/2 mile walking trail that leads visitors down towards the General Sherman Tree. Kings Canyon is home to fabulous backcountry as well: if you plan to backpack in Kings Canyon or Sequoia, apply for a free backcountry permit. Ride the red shuttle all the way hermits rest. The road to the left takes you back to the caverns. Visitors Center also open for questions or buying things. Most of campers I saw were van type. Laughlin is 90 miles south of Las Vegas, located in the far southern tip of Nevada. This intimate little zoo allowed us to see these animals way closer than expected! You could check out General Sherman Tree and Giant Forest, or the always popular Moro Rock Trail! Trails are well done and give great views of the non-stop scenery.
