Apart from golfing opportunities on the resorts local course, guests can take trips to Mabamba swamp to visit the mysterious shoebill, check out the chimpanzee sanctuary on Naamba island and engage in animal encounters at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. They boast all the features of the Executive Room, but the bed is king size and there is a lot of extra space in the form of a reception room, a dining room adjoining a private kitchen, a private event or conference room, and accommodation for staff. The Uganda Wildlife Education Centre is worth a visit too, as are Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the shoebill-rich marshes of Mabamba. There are reptiles too turtles and Nile crocodile in addition to many highlights for keen birders. The majority of the regions in Uganda sit at fairly high altitudes, which moderates the temperatures, especially in the case of Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks where it can be really quite cool. I spent an evening here and I absolutely loved the theme and ambience. However, I was not that satisfied at the food because the buffet menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner are almost same.
