Went through 25# of pork butt with no problem. All parts easy to clean, of course love the stainless steel! The only issue was that there was metal dust residue inside the grinder, probably left over from milling the parts. *I have used meat grinders for many years and I have a 32 head grinder but wanted one for smaller jobs. I ran 30 pounds of venison through it with no problem. Recurved it quicker than expected! I got a call from the owner to confirm the shipping address and the product arrived in Hawaii two days later - a day earlier than USPS said it would arrive. Exceeding my expectations. As such, even though i loved my home made sausage more than store bought, due to time considerations i rarely took the time to grind the meat to make my own sausage. This were the best 140 bucks I've ever spent on a kitchen equipment. I was concerned that her Artisan Kitchenaid mixer wouldn't be powerful enough. The only downfall is it doesn't push very well to stuff the casings ( my other ones didn't either. It also included two different sausage stuffing tubes and a large meat packaging tube. The only regret is I put the cutting blade in the dishwasher and it came out with small traces of rust on the inside corners behind the cutting blade. I was a bit skeptic to try a grinder attachment, but colored me impressed she was so right about getting a kitchen aid attachment. Went through 25# of pork butt with no problem. All parts easy to clean, of course love the stainless steel! The only issue was that there was metal dust residue inside the grinder, probably left over from milling the parts. *I have used meat grinders for many years and I have a 32 head grinder but wanted one for smaller jobs. I ran 30 pounds of venison through it with no problem. Recurved it quicker than expected! I got a call from the owner to confirm the shipping address and the product arrived in Hawaii two days later - a day earlier than USPS said it would arrive. Exceeding my expectations. As such, even though i loved my home made sausage more than store bought, due to time considerations i rarely took the time to grind the meat to make my own sausage. This were the best 140 bucks I've ever spent on a kitchen equipment. I was concerned that her Artisan Kitchenaid mixer wouldn't be powerful enough. The only downfall is it doesn't push very well to stuff the casings ( my other ones didn't either. It also included two different sausage stuffing tubes and a large meat packaging tube. The only regret is I put the cutting blade in the dishwasher and it came out with small traces of rust on the inside corners behind the cutting blade. I was a bit skeptic to try a grinder attachment, but colored me impressed she was so right about getting a kitchen aid attachment.
