I know you werent talking about surreptitiously hiding screws but thinking more about the general aesthetics or practicality of clamping. The one I reach for is the 3/8, except for the occassional constructionprojectwith really big screws. In any case, I have both 3/8 and 1/2. It had twist, spade and masonry bits, along with large assortment of screwdriver bits. The cutter is not able to penetrate hardwood. Easy to use and operate. Also, the bits break (by dropping the drill on the floor, usually) much more often than a countersink needs to be replaced. I'd ratherhave 2 bit/countersinks set up for a size that is always in demand than to have sets ready for sizes that I need only rarely. Some parts are not properly working, and some machine works are of bad quality. Time to get a decent countersink set and plug cutters.
